Kids Information
At Sun City Church, we are convinced that scripture calls parents to be the primary discipler of their children. It is our desire to partner with the home, as we invest in the next generation, by coming alongside parents and helping you in this incredible role that God has given you.
We do this through our age appropriate equipping classes that take place Sunday at 9am. Equip classes are led by our Pastoral Residents and Pastoral Team. Children will be divided into peer groups in order to cultivate Biblical conversations that can be understood at their level. Children attending equip hour will be checked in at our Nursery check-in station where they will receive a name tag and corresponding parent tag. Parents will need this tag in order to check-out their student after class ends at 10am.
Following Equip Hour, we encourage parents to attend service with their children. At Sun City Church, we are not afraid of wiggles and giggles. Children are an important part of our Church Body. Child Safety
Background Checks – All SCC Kids volunteers are current team members who have been carefully screened and trained, and have successfully passed a current background check.
Security Tags – Every time you check your child in, we will print a name tag and give you a corresponding name tag that you will show your child’s teacher when you come to pick them up. This is how we can ensure we get the right children back to the right people. Each child must be picked up by an adult (18yrs or older) and show the correct corresponding nametag to their teacher.
